Remove Not Listed Programs In Add/Remove

This problem can occur if the program you installed creates a registry key name that is longer than 60 characters in length. Add/Remove Programs only lists program names it locates up to the point it encounters this situation.Follow the steps given to solve the problem.

* Go to C:\Windows\Inf folder. In the right pane, scroll down to sysoc.inf. Open it with notepad. It will look like…

[Components]
NtComponents=ntoc.dll,NtOcSetupProc,,4
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7

* The word “HIDE” in an entry hides that application from your Add/Remove Programs dialog box. To add ms messenger to the Add/Remove menu, delete the word HIDE from its entry. Don’t delete the “,”(comma) after it.

* Save the file and restart your machine and now you can see that app listed in the add/remove programs list.

Get Vista Like Taskbar In Windows 7

If You are new to windows 7 and not able to go along with is smoothly then
here is an option that you can follow to get the Taskbar icons as the same we had in Vista.
In Vista whenever we minimized an application (folder, word etc.)
it is accessed by a atb @ taskbar which describes about process and has an icon as well.
But in Windows 7 this thing has been replaced by an Icon so you can't get any text over there.

To get back the similar feel in Windows 7 do the following:

 Windows 7 Taskbar
Navigate to taskbar & Right Click it.
Open taskbar properties.
Go to option taskbar Buttons.

Here you have 3 options: hide labels, combine and never combine
Choose the third one.

it would restore the Taskbar buttons like they were used to be in Vista.

This is how taskbar would look like now...

Spooler SubSystem App has stopped working

After I have installed windows 7, my computer get the following message on each startup time:

Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close

Spooler SubSystem App has stopped, stopped working Spooler SubSystem
I think that may be you need to update your Windows 7 version. Because the problem seems to be resolved since updated to 7048 version.

Or you can try to fix the error by this way:

1. Click the start button --> Control Panel --> programs and features --> windows features.
2. Then find the "Printing and Document Services" in windows features. Untick "Windows Fax and Scan" and "Internet Printing client".
3. Click the OK button to apply and reboot your PC.
4. When login the Windows, system will find the printer and install the priter driver.

Reduce Windows Animation Speed in Vista

Reduce Speed 'Animation Windows' in Vista
Windows Vista comes with several new enhancements, however for these added features you have to pay the price  of slow processing speed for even the fastest of computers. The main reason is the visual upgrades, which though looks good can drastically reduce the performance of your system.

If your system can not take the load of Window Vista and you still want to use it for considerable performance, you may tweak Windows Vista for certain optimizations. For example; when you minimize, maximize or close any windows/applications, the animation speed to perform these tasks is a default setting which is not under the control of the user.

Never the less, you can make this transition run slower while holding the SHIFT key button; after performing the following registry hack as shown below:

1. Click on the Start button and type regedit in the Start Search field, then press enter.

2. If User Account Control prompts you for consent, click on Continue.

3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM

4. In the right hand pane, right click on an empty space and from the context menu that appears choose “New > DWORD (32-bit) Value”.
5. Give the new DWORD (32-bit) Value a name of AnimationsShiftKey.

 6. Double click on the “AnimationsShiftKey” value and give it a value of 1
7. Close the Registry Editor and log off of Windows and log back in for this to take effect.

If you have successfully edited the registry, you will notice that the animation speed has become slower when compared to previous without holding the SHIFT key....

'Sticky Notes Windows 7' is very useful for me. You can write down your notes and change the fonts or colors of the note, but how to print sticky notes in windows 7. When Right-click on a note, I con't find out printing function in the menu.
It's necessary to copy the note text into MS Office Word or WordPad to print for me. But it's an extra step. MS will add that feature in sticky notes.

To get printing function in notes, you can use Microsoft Office OneNote 2003. You can print a page of notes by clicking Print on the Standard toolbar in OneNote.
